How to manage it

Large evergreen citrus for warm sites; grafted onto rootstock for vigour. Thin crowded fruit and prune lightly to keep light into the canopy.

Watch out for

Frost-tender (damaged below about -3C). Needs heat to sweeten fruit; bitter if summers stay cool. Interacts with some medications if juice is consumed regularly.
